Use them to elevate tagines, roasted chicken, couscous, or even vinaigrettes. A little goes a long way — just finely chop the peel and add it to your dish for a flavor explosion.

Recipe Idea: Chicken Tagine with Beldi Lemons and Olives

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 Amilcar Beldi Lemon, quartered

  • ½ jar Aïcha Kosher Pitted Green Olives

  • Salt and pepper

  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a heavy pot or tagine, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic.

  2. Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides.

  3. Season with turmeric, ginger, salt, and pepper.

  4. Add preserved lemon and black olives.

  5. Pour in water to half-cover the chicken, cover and simmer for 45–60 minutes.

  6. Garnish with coriander and serve with couscous or rice.
